This is one of the most rareliest visited place at the campus,
because it is very dark here and this area is complex, so one
can easily get lost in the basement. But from here you can reach
the entrance of the one-time St. Norbert Secondary School.

A University is founded at its ruins by the first quarter of the 20th century,
it is just the ancestor of the St. Istvan University, renamed in the nineties.

At the ceiling there are many small glass windows,
so this place is fairly bright.

On the wall back you can see a small hole,
it is for the movie projector. At the front there is
an old-style slide projector, you can project with it
framed photos. Beneath it there is also an overhead projector
for transparent slides.

As you can see the equipment is quite old, unfortunately there is
not enough money for the universities at the moment.
Blissfully the quality of education is not involved too much,
the graduated students will have high quality degrees in
ecconomical and engineering studies.

By the time this panorama was made, a foreign professor had come
to our University from France to recruit some students to study
in abroad. Our University cultivates very good relationships with
many Universities from abroad, so it would be possible to finish our study
at a University in a foreign language. These twin-universities resides mostly
in the European Union, but several are outside too.

Szent István University has established numerous cooperation agreements
with different universities from all over the world. Based on the scientific
achievements and expertise of its academic staff, SZIU tends to stimulate
and continue launching new research projects with foreign partners in the
future, as well.
In addition, SZIU is actively involved in the international student/teacher
exchange programs, whose enlargement is one of the main strategical goals.
As SZIU has 6 faculties with different majors ranging from veterinary medicine
through agriculture, economics to teacher training, a wide spectrum and
further progress of cooperations in research and education is expected.

And finally some words about my thesis that is just in making:
It has now 50 pages, and the final version will be about 70 pages long.
The deadline is the end of april, so I need to hurry. It is very hard to
concentrate on two or three things constantly every day,
I mean writing a thesis is a hard work that needs some hours to read
and switch my thoughts before I can write some lines.

I work as HP-UX system administrator, currently I’m in the phase of
mastering all the things about administering Unix systems.
If I come home at night about 8 o’clock I need to switch to
the panoramic photography, and work hard till midnight.
After that, I sleep about 6 hours and morning it begins again…
