IV. Contakter Balaton-crossing International Balloon Competition
Finally here are the panoramas from the Balloon Competition!
10 balloons flew across the lake Balaton, 8 participant were from Hungary and 2 from Lithuania.
The competition lasted five days, every morning and afternoon
was a flight from different starting points.
These panoramas were taken at the 3rd afternoon, the balloons took off from the Toth Riding Centre.
The take off lasted about a half hour.
First they blew up the balloons with cold air, with a help of a motorized propeller.
Then he fired the gas heater and pumped in some hot air, after that the balloons rised.
Then the baskets needed to straighten up, and the ride begun!

Very cool… how did you create the “time-lapse” of the four panos?
I did set up my panhead at a constant point, and photographed the whole scene from that location. Then I stitched these four panos to equirect. After that I composed an animated gif from those four equirect pictures.
If I had time then I could make an animated panorama from those in SPi-V, as it supports moving panoramic scenes too.
