In front of us, there is the gepesz Aula, a large hall of the engineers.
It is built by the plans of Emil Zöldy. The original building has
very wide stairs, and it was never fully utilized.
So came the idea to re-design these stairs and build a more
modern version of it.

Gabor Reischl, another famous hungarian architect re-planned
the stairs, so now it has a large multi-level “stair system”.

At the left side of the aula, a bit closer there is also a large ear-shaped
monument from the 70s. It is probably made of copper, as it has
a fair green color now because of oxidation.
(At the panorama we can see it very dark, due to shadow, fungus and moss.)

When you turn around, at the other end of these stairs it is the sports hall,
where all those sweaty physical education are held.
There can be played ping-pong, football (soccer) or basketball.
Women can also have yoga- or karate-lessons.
Or if you would like, you can ride a horse at the nearest ranch
in place of gym.
